Integration course <-> V-IZ
Not Every "German Course" is a Mandatory Integration Course
If a government authority, an employer, or an office abroad tells you that you "should take a German course," this does not automatically mean that you are legally obligated to attend a specific Integration Course.
As long as you do not have a written official obligation (e.g., from the Jobcenter or the Ausländerbehörde / Foreigners' Authority), you are free to decide how and where you learn German. This means you can choose to learn completely flexibly and online with V-IZ.
> Only if such an obligation has been explicitly issued in writing must you attend a physical classroom integration course.
TELC & Goethe – Internationally Recognized and Highly Valued
Many employers, companies, foreign authorities, universities, and international organizations often prefer and accept TELC and Goethe certificates more widely than the specific DTZ test (Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer) from the integration course.
These exams are known worldwide, internationally recognized, and are frequently required or preferred for:
