1. Digital delivery
V‑IZ no longer sends parcels to private customers. There is no postal delivery, no shipping charge and no delivery address is required. Everything you buy is provided online or by email immediately after payment. This applies worldwide.
- Premium: Access is activated immediately after successful payment.
- Video course (video lessons and course plan): also activated immediately after payment.
- Textbook "Schritte plus Neu": two digital activation codes per level, via email, immediately after payment.
You will receive a confirmation email with the login link for the web app at v-iz.de/app/ and for our mobile app.
Processing time: In the case of automatic security checks to prevent fraud, activation can in rare cases take up to 24 hours.
2. The activation codes for the textbook
- What you get: The video course includes two volumes "Schritte plus Neu" for your level, one for the course book and one for the workbook. You will receive your own activation code for each volume.
- When: by email immediately after you complete your order.
- Where to redeem them: in your free Hueber account at hueber.edupool.de. The licences are linked to your Hueber account only after redemption and remain there even if your V‑IZ access later ends.
- Worldwide: There are no country restrictions and no shipping costs for the codes.
- Waiting time: If our codes are temporarily used up, you will be put on a waiting list. As soon as new codes arrive, we will deliver them and inform you by email.
- Right of withdrawal: Your right of withdrawal for a code expires once we have delivered it to you, regardless of whether you redeem it. See Section 2 of our Withdrawal policy for details.
3. Provision of digital services
- Immediate activation: Access to the web application and the mobile app will be activated immediately after the order has been successfully completed. You will receive a confirmation email with a registration link.
- Access duration: For one-time purchases, 12 months from activation, after which access ends automatically. When subscribing, for as long as the subscription lasts.
- Spam folder: If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam folder first. If you have any problems, write to info@v-iz.de.
- Free use: The free part of V‑IZ is open to you without an account and without activation.
4. Accepted payment options
For orders placed through v-iz.de, you can choose from the following payment methods:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Payment is processed by our payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited, Ireland). The payment methods shown at checkout depend on your country. For a subscription, the amount is charged at the beginning of each new period until you cancel. A one-time purchase is charged only once.
Note on mobile app purchases:
Only the payment methods that you have stored in your Apple ID or your Google account apply to purchases within our mobile app. Billing takes place directly via the respective app store operator.
