1. Delivery of your order
When you purchase a level through v-iz.de (one-time purchase of 149.99 € incl. VAT, 12 months of access), you receive two deliveries:
- Video course / platform access (digital content): Immediately after successful order completion, you receive a confirmation e-mail with a login link for the web app and mobile app. Access is fully unlocked immediately after order completion and can be used for 12 months.
- Hueber companion books (mandatory choice at checkout): At checkout, you choose between two delivery types for the two Hueber companion books ("Schritte plus Neu", course book + workbook for the selected level, e.g. A1.1 + A1.2):
- Printed by DHL, EU-wide (see a below); or
- Digital by e-mail (Hueber activation codes; see c below); available worldwide, with no shipping costs.
a) Shipping of the printed companion books (EU-wide)
- Shipping costs: We ship printed books to all countries of the European Union (incl. Germany) at a single flat shipping fee of 4.99 € per order. This flat shipping fee is shown separately at checkout before the order is completed and is not included in the product price (149.99 €).
- Delivery time: Unless a different period is stated in the respective offer, delivery takes place within 2 – 4 business days (Germany) or 3 – 8 business days (rest of the EU) after successful order completion.
b) No physical shipping outside the EU
- Physical shipping of the printed companion books to countries outside the EU is currently not possible. If you order from a non-EU country, choose the digital delivery type at checkout (Hueber activation codes by e-mail; see c). The video course is not affected by this restriction and is available worldwide.
c) Digital delivery (Hueber activation codes by e-mail), worldwide
- Availability: If you choose the digital delivery type, you receive the codes worldwide by e-mail; with no shipping costs (the 4.99 € flat shipping fee applies only to printed books).
- Delivery time: The Hueber activation codes (two codes per level, one each for the course book and the workbook) are sent to you by e-mail immediately after order completion. If the code stock is temporarily exhausted, you will be placed on a waiting list; delivery will then take place after new codes arrive. We will inform you by e-mail.
- Redemption: You redeem the codes at hueber.edupool.de in your (free) Hueber account. The licence is then available in your Hueber account.
- Right of withdrawal: When the code is redeemed on hueber.edupool.de, your statutory right of withdrawal for the code expires (you confirm the prior consent at checkout). As long as no redemption has taken place, you may withdraw within 14 days. For details, see the Withdrawal Instructions.
d) Transfer of risk in shipping (§ 475 para. 2 BGB)
In a consumer goods purchase, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the shipped goods passes to you as the consumer only when the goods are handed over to you (§ 475 para. 2 BGB). Should a parcel be lost or damaged in transit, we bear the risk and will send you a free replacement or refund the purchase price. Please report transport damage or losses promptly to info@v-iz.de.
2. Provision of the video course (digital content)
- Immediate activation: Access to the web application and mobile app is unlocked immediately after successful order completion. You receive a confirmation e-mail with a login link. Immediate provision requires your express consent at checkout (see Withdrawal Instructions, Clause 2).
- Access period: 12 months from activation; afterwards your access ends automatically. No further charge is made.
- Processing time: Where automatic security checks (fraud prevention) apply, activation may in rare cases take up to 24 hours.
3. Important delivery notes
- Immediate start: The video course is active immediately after order completion. You can start the online course right away, regardless of the physical book shipping.
- Sundays and public holidays: DHL does not deliver physical parcels on Sundays and public holidays. Platform access, however, is provided automatically at all times.
- Delivery address: Please make sure that your delivery address and e-mail address are complete and correct. If shipments cannot be delivered because the details are incomplete or incorrect, repeat shipping costs may arise.
- Spam folder: If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please first check your spam/junk folder. If you have problems, contact info@v-iz.de.
4. Accepted payment methods
For orders through v-iz.de, you may choose from the following payment methods:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- SEPA direct debit
- PayPal
- Klarna (incl. instalment payment)
- Apple Pay / Google Pay
Payment processing is handled by our payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited, Ireland). This is a one-time payment; no recurring subscription charges take place through the website. Which payment methods are shown to you in the specific order process depends on your country.
Note on in-app purchases (mobile app):
For feature-specific purchases within our mobile app (e.g. extended AI features, tokens), only the payment methods stored in your Apple ID or Google account apply. Billing is handled directly by the respective app-store operator. These in-app purchases are independent of the one-time purchase made through the website.
