1. Delivery of your order
When purchasing via v-iz.de, you may receive several deliveries depending on your order:
- V‑IZ platform access: Immediately after successful order completion, you receive a confirmation e-mail with a login link for the web app and mobile app. During the 7-day free trial, access is fully enabled immediately.
- Hueber activation code (digital): If you have chosen the digital delivery option of the accompanying book, we send you the personal Hueber activation code by e-mail immediately after successful order completion.
- Accompanying book by DHL (physical): The physical accompanying book ("Schritte plus Neu", Hueber Verlag) is sent to you separately by DHL (DE/AT only, see below).
a) Shipping the accompanying book to Germany
- Flat shipping fee: For shipping within Germany, we charge a DHL flat fee of 3,99 €. It is transparently shown to you in the cart and before order completion.
- Delivery time: Unless otherwise stated in the respective offer, delivery takes place within 2 – 4 business days after successful order completion.
b) Shipping the accompanying book to Austria
- Flat shipping fee: For deliveries to Austria, we likewise charge a DHL flat fee of 3,99 €, shown in the cart before order completion.
- Delivery time: Delivery time to Austria is generally 3 – 6 business days after successful order completion.
c) Shipping to other countries
- Physical shipping of the accompanying book to other countries is currently not possible. In these cases, you receive the accompanying book exclusively digitally as a Hueber activation code by e-mail.
d) Transfer of risk on shipping (§ 475 Abs. 2 BGB)
In the case of a consumer goods purchase, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the shipped goods passes to you as a consumer only upon handover to you (§ 475 Abs. 2 BGB). Should a parcel be lost or damaged in transit, we bear the risk and send you a free replacement or refund the purchase price. Please report transport damage or losses promptly to info@v-iz.de.
2. Provision of digital content (V‑IZ Subscription & Hueber codes)
For the V‑IZ Subscription and for digitally delivered Hueber activation codes, no shipping costs apply.
- V‑IZ Subscription: Access to the web application is enabled immediately after successful order completion — also during the 7-day free trial. You receive a confirmation e-mail with a login link.
- Hueber activation code (digital): If you have chosen the digital delivery option, you receive the personal Hueber activation code by e-mail immediately after successful order completion.
- Processing time: In the case of automatic security checks (fraud prevention), activation may in rare cases take up to 24 hours. During the 7-day trial only card-based payment is possible (see Subscription Terms Clause 1.0); SEPA Direct Debit and Klarna only become available in the running subscription.
3. Important notes on delivery
- Instant start: The V‑IZ platform access is active immediately after order completion (also in the 7-day trial). You can start the online course immediately, regardless of the physical book delivery.
- Sundays and public holidays: On Sundays and public holidays, no physical parcels are delivered by DHL. Platform access and the digital Hueber activation code are, however, automatically provided at any time.
- Delivery address: Please provide a complete and correct delivery and e-mail address. For undeliverable shipments due to incomplete or incorrect details, repeat shipping costs may apply.
- Spam folder: Should you not receive the confirmation e-mail or the Hueber activation code, please first check your spam/junk folder. If you have any problems, please contact info@v-iz.de.
4. Accepted payment methods
For orders via v-iz.de, you can pay with the following payment methods:
- credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- SEPA Direct Debit
- PayPal
- Klarna (invoice, pay now, instalment — for one-time purchases)
- Apple Pay / Google Pay
Payment processing as well as management of recurring subscription payments takes place via our payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited, Ireland). Which payment methods are shown to you in the specific order process depends on your country and the chosen delivery option.
Note on in-app purchases (mobile app):
For feature-specific purchases within our mobile app (e.g. extended AI features, tokens), only the payment methods stored in your Apple ID or Google account apply. Billing is handled directly by the respective app-store operator. These in-app purchases are independent of the V‑IZ Subscription on the website.
