Is this a live course?
No. V-IZ is a video course. You watch whenever you want. You pause, jump back, practise at your own pace. Instead of in a classroom, you talk to the AI. It gives instant feedback. No one but you is listening.
Which exam do I take, and will it be recognized?
You prepare specifically for the official telc or Goethe exam at your level. You take the exam at an accredited testing center (around 90 to 150 € extra), and we help you find an appointment. The certificate is recognized: at the immigration office (Ausländerbehörde), for a settlement permit (Niederlassungserlaubnis), for citizenship (Einbürgerung), and at the employment agency (Agentur für Arbeit). Important: we are not a state-run BAMF Integrationskurs, but the fast, flexible way to prepare.
Is this a subscription?
You decide that when you buy. With the monthly plan you cancel any time at the end of the month you paid for and keep your access until then. With the one-time purchase nothing renews, and your access simply ends after twelve months.
Do I really get a book?
Yes, the matching Hueber book is included in the price. When you order, you choose whether to receive it printed by DHL to your home (within Germany, 3.99 € flat-rate shipping) or to activate it digitally via an email code. You can use both for 2 years, even after your 12 months end.
Do I get a certificate of participation?
Yes, after completing a level we'll issue you a certificate of participation as a PDF on request. Just write to us at info@v-iz.de and we'll email it to you.
