Is this a live course?
No. V-IZ is a video course. You watch whenever you want. You pause, jump back, practise at your own pace. Instead of in a classroom, you talk to the AI. It gives instant feedback. No one but you is listening.

How many hours of lessons do I get per level?
Each level includes around 160 hours of video lessons across 40 course days. Watch a whole course day at once or split it into shorter sessions; your progress is saved automatically.

Which coursebook do you use?
We use „Schritte plus Neu“ by Hueber Verlag. It's the book that's also used in many official German courses. That way you're close to the material you'll see again in exams.

Can I have several levels at the same time?
Yes. You can buy a second or third level anytime. In your account you can see which levels are active.

Do I get a certificate of participation?
Yes, after completing a level we'll issue you a certificate of participation as a PDF on request. Just write to us at info@v-iz.de and we'll email it to you.

What does V-IZ cost?
What does V-IZ cost?: 195,99 € (149,99 € + 46,00 €).

Is this a subscription?
You decide that when you buy. With the monthly plan you cancel any time at the end of the month you paid for and keep your access until then. With the one-time purchase nothing renews, and your access simply ends after twelve months.

Which payment methods are available?
Payment is secure in Stripe Checkout by credit card. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear only when your device and saved card are eligible.

Do I really get a book?
The two Hueber codes are sent immediately by email and are non-refundable. After redeeming them, the licences remain permanently in your Hueber account.

How do I sign in?
Open the app at v-iz.de/app. Sign in with Google, Apple or your email address. You can also continue without an account; in that case, your progress stays on this device only.

Do I have to cancel anything?
Only if you took out a subscription. You cancel it online in two minutes, with no phone call and no reason needed. With the one-time purchase there is nothing to cancel, your access ends automatically after twelve months.

Where do I find my invoices?
Via the „Account“ button at the top right. It takes you to the secure Stripe customer portal, where you can download all invoices as PDFs.
