No. V-IZ is a video course. You watch whenever you want. You pause, jump back, practise at your own pace. Instead of in a classroom, you talk to the AI. It gives instant feedback. No one but you is listening.

You can watch a course day in one go or split it into small chunks. Your progress is saved automatically.

We use „Schritte plus Neu“ by Hueber Verlag. It's the book that's also used in many official German courses. That way you're close to the material you'll see again in exams.

Yes. You can add a second or third level anytime. In your account you can see which levels are active, and you can cancel or add levels individually.

Yes, after completing a level we'll issue you a certificate of participation as a PDF on request. Just write to us at info@v-iz.de and we'll email it to you.

You pay 49,99 € per month. No hidden costs, no sign-up fee.

Yes. You cancel to the end of the current month. One click on „Account“ opens the Stripe portal, where you switch off the subscription. After that we won't charge you anything.

Credit card, SEPA direct debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe. All payments are encrypted, and we at V-IZ never see your payment details.

Yes, the matching Hueber book is included in the price. When you order, you choose whether to receive it printed by DHL (Germany & Austria) or to activate it digitally via an email code. Both work for 2 years even after the subscription ends.

We currently only ship printed books to Germany and Austria. If you live in another country, please choose the digital option, the Hueber e-code works worldwide.

In the V-IZ app. Download the app for iPhone or Android, or open app.v-iz.de in your browser, and sign in with the email you used to order your subscription. Your progress syncs everywhere.
