About us
A real language school, now online too.
V-IZ is the online extension of SH Sprachschule Heilbronn, based at S3 2A, 68161 Mannheim, and AZAV-certified. It is for everyone who cannot attend our in-person courses because of shift work, time, format or cost. The same school, the same teacher and the same coursebook—just online.
We have been teaching German on site in Heilbronn since 2007. Small groups, real teachers, real textbooks. With V‑IZ we are bringing this model to the Internet: video lessons, the digital Hueber textbook and AI for what you practice together in the classroom.
V‑IZ is for people who live in Germany or are moving here. Who work. Who have a family. Who have no time for fixed course times. You learn whenever you have time. With content used in real language schools. No pressure, no chasing points, no stress.
We're a small school with big experience. Just write to us, we usually reply the same day.
Your teacher: Marlene Fries
Marlene Fries is a German native speaker and studied German as a foreign language (Bachelor's degree). She is a licensed DaF teacher and a BAMF integration-course instructor. At V-IZ she teaches you on video all the way from A1 to B1, with the same curriculum and Hueber coursebook as in the in-person classroom.
