About us
A real language school, now online too.
V-IZ is the online extension of SH Sprachschule Heilbronn (Allee 40, 74072 Heilbronn), AZAV-certified. For everyone who can't make it to our in-person courses because of shift work, time, format or money. The same school, the same teacher, the same coursebook, just online.
We've taught German for over 17 years, in person in Heilbronn. Small groups, real teachers, real coursebooks. With V‑IZ we bring this model online. Real video lessons instead of game apps. A proper Hueber book instead of click-through exercises. And AI for what you'd otherwise practise together in the classroom.
V‑IZ is for people who live in Germany or are moving here. Who work. Who have a family. Who have no time for fixed course times. You learn whenever you have time. With content used in real language schools. No pressure, no chasing points, no stress.

Your teacher: Marlene Fries
Marlene Fries is a German native speaker and studied German as a foreign language (Bachelor's degree). She is a licensed DaF teacher and a BAMF integration-course instructor. At V-IZ she teaches you on video all the way from A1 to B1, with the same curriculum and Hueber coursebook as in the in-person classroom.
