86 verbs in 110 sentences
anrufen, aufstehen, einladen, mitbringen, zumachen. You meet the verbs in short everyday sentences, not in a list to memorise.
SEPARABLE VERBS
With separable verbs, the prefix moves to the end of the sentence. Practise this in 110 sentences with 86 verbs from A1 to B1 by filling both gaps yourself. No account required.
anrufen, aufstehen, einladen, mitbringen, zumachen. You meet the verbs in short everyday sentences, not in a list to memorise.
The sentence has one gap near the front and one at the end. The conjugated form goes into the first and the prefix into the second—exactly as the finished sentence will look.
At the top of the card, you see the target verb, for example “ankommen”. You do not have to guess which verb is meant; you only need to find the correct form.
How it works
Choose A1, A2 or B1. The 110 sentences are distributed across those levels.
“Wir ___ um halb neun in Berlin ___.” Type “kommen” and “an”. Enter moves from one field to the next.
The card counts as correct only when both gaps are right. Otherwise, you see the correct form with your answer below.
Practising costs nothing. Vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and the citizenship test are free. The video course with Marlene and the Hueber book comes on top when you want more.
