PLURAL TRAINER
German plurals take many forms. Practise 150 nouns from A1 to B1 by typing each plural yourself. After every answer, you see the rule behind it. No account required.
A1, A2 and B1, with 50 words each. They come from daily life: Vertrag, Formular, Aufzug, Ärztin and Geschäft.
There are no answer buttons. “die” is already shown before the field; you type the rest yourself. Capitalisation is ignored and ae is accepted in place of ä.
After answering, you see the type: plural with -e, umlaut and -er, unchanged or irregular. This helps you organise the words in your mind.
How it works
Choose A1, A2 or B1. The 150 nouns are evenly distributed across the three levels.
The singular appears at the top, for example “der Vertrag”. Type the plural in the field and press Enter.
The correct form always appears in green, even after a wrong answer. Beside it is the abbreviation for the ending group.
Practising costs nothing. Vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and the citizenship test are free. The video course with Marlene and the Hueber book comes on top when you want more.
